Once you have close the app then please update the DoubleDown app to the latest version as that should help with this promo redemption issue.
After you update the app you should hopefully be able to redeem both email and facebook promos as normal. If after clicking on the link you are taken to a new page with the option tap to play please click on that tap to play link to open the DoubleDown Casino app and follow any prompts to complete the redemption process.
Also for your first promo redemption after updating you may not receive a confirmation message or you may receive the message that the promo has already been redeemed or is expired. You should then be able to click the same promo link again and receive the chips successfully.
