Signatures?

Why can't I make a signature for my posts in the control panel?

The owner of this site is using a template called phpBB which I am familiar with. He/She probably just disabled that feature in the administrator control panel. It is common for a new forum to remove a lot of features as the forum grows and slowly turn them on so members do not get overwhelmed. This is just my assumption though

I know that there is the ability to have signatures with this forum style, it is just turned off for whatever reason. Why would you want one?
