Hard to be respectful at times

Post by AuthorRDK » Tue Jan 22, 2013 10:33 pm

It is often very difficult to be respectful when dealing with Double Down Casino. I have contacted them on many occasions and have been told that people are paying to play not win. It appears to me that when someone realizes that they have absolutely no chance of winning that they will not play the game(s) much less purchase chips. What I find disheartening is that the slots do not give the players a chance to ever hit anything larger than what is actually bet. If and when that does happen (rarely) it immediately takes the total winnings back before hitting anything again. Hitting the BONUS ROUND should give players a chance to at least break even but even that is almost impossible. Out of fifteen (15) bonus spins you are lucky to hit three spins to give you anything at all. Then if you do you might lose it all if you X-out on the second chance. One night I played 500 million non-stop on slots and went broke within two hours just to see if I could hit anything larger than what i was betting. On the last spin I hit the BOUNS and was given 3 million. On poker I was beat four (4) time with four (4) of a kind in one day. That would not happen in real poker even once in a lifetime. What I personally see happening is many good hands appearing to have a chance of winning so they bet high and then they lose; this way Double Down makes players lose most of their chips and are forced to purchase more chips in order to continue to play. We all know that going to a casino is a losing proposition. BUT there is that one chance that we might win the BIG ONE. On Double Down there is no chance to ever win the BIG ONE. They need to listen to the players and at least give them somewhat of a fair chance to win or at least have a chance to break even once in a while. Otherwise people will wise up and leave the site and they will close down and everyone loses. Just my personal opinion.

I have been playing Doubledown for at least a year and a half. In that time I have made the $59 purchase often. Early on I would play for days on that 35 million chips, since around last summer those chips now disappear in a matter of a few hours. I am stating publicly right now that doubledown has seen their last dollar from me until I once again feel confident that I'll get some fair and reasonable playing time for my money. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

What I have been finding pretty frequent is the amount of pots that get split between players, meaning 2 or more players receive the same cards (not suits)...one evening I split 3 times, once between 3 players because we all had a straight.

Romantic_road_kill I actually noticed that too because all I play is holdem. Thought it was just me. I will look for it more often now
