What has happened to Double Down?

Post by kkoscielski » Sat Jan 19, 2013 4:04 pm

Has anyone else noticed how Double down has changed in the last six months? For example, 50K free chips is 2 spins on their new games. Maybe they should have a slots "High Roller" room and a "Lo Ball" room. Maybe just add a new min icon (maybe 500 chips) to each slot game. I have baugth chips in the past and lately 13 Million just last as long as it used to. I hope the peeps at DD read this forum. They don't much respect what we say on their own forums. I get fairly upset when I get their canned answers. Guys rember this....."You have to spend money to make money"

Doubledown was purchased by another company for like an insane amount of cash around 6 months ago. I think they made it harder to win to get more people to purchase chips to get some of their money back. I did notice it is so hard to win now

I think that the DD folks have it wrong making it hard to win will not entice players to buy chips. Maybe if it was hard to hit a bonus but the bonus payed really good that would work or if the bonus hit more often but payed less that might work but hard bonuses and small payouts will not make me buy chips

I totally agree with this. Hopefully something gets done about it!

I agree: I don't mind buying chips sometimes, but not if I can't get a reasonable amount of playing time for my money.

This is the reason why I stopped purchasing chips. I used to buy 59$ worth once a month during the 2X sales, and sometimes a little less if I was bored. Even playing low limits I find there is no enjoyment. Trying to learn Texas Holdem. I heard that is the new way to make chips
