How to REMOVE/CLOSE "Running Apps" from iOS devices!

Post by Pink » Tue Oct 28, 2014 1:03 pm

NO MORE EXTRA BOX to enter codes on the Mobile App for iOS devices? NO PROBLEM!! Our NEW code LINKS now WORK from the Mobile App. However you need to READ below on how to check and CLOSE DDC from your "RUNNING APPS" before you use the code Links:

How to CLOSE/QUIT Currently RUNNING Apps from the background of your iOS device (iPhones & iPads).

--Most of the time when you are finished with a app, you simply click the "Round Home button" on the bottom of your device to close/exit that app. But guess what, the app really doesn't close, it's actually still running silently in the background, just not not visible on your screen anymore.

Now this is a great feature for those who multitask allot or switch back and forth between apps, because this allows you to pick right back up where you left off the next time you re-open the app.

However there will be circumstances where you will want or need to CLOSE/REMOVE some of those running apps from your device. Like the DDC Game" app prior to clicking the NEW code links from your mobile device. **This process does NOT delete your apps, just CLOSES them & removes them from running in the background!!

Below are Super Fast and Easy STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS on how to do just that.

"NEW" iOS 7-8, follow these INSTRUCTIONS: *iOS 6 or lower see next set of Instructions!

1. Start out by quickly Double-Clicking the HOME button on your device (the physical button on the front of your iPhone or iPad).

2. You will see a "App bar" displayed at the bottom of the screen & a screenshot of each open app.

3. Swipe from right to left (sideways) to locate the App you wish to CLOSE.

4. When you've located the App you wish to close, use your finger to swipe the Screenshot window "UP" towards the top of your screen (not the app icon).

4. The window will then "scroll-off" your screen and that App is now CLOSED (not DELETED) just no longer running in the background of your device.

5. You can continue doing this for each app you would like to CLOSE and when done just click the HOME button to return to your main screen.

iOS 4-6, follow these INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Start out by quickly Double-Clicking the HOME button on your device (the physical button on the front of your iPhone or iPad).

2. Your dock will then be grayed out and a new row of icons will appear at the bottom of your screen. **These are the programs/apps that are currently running on your device.

3. Find the App you wish to close then PRESS/HOLD the app icon until it starts to "wiggle" and the red minus sign appears in the upper right corner, then click to REMOVE it (this ONLY Closes the App, not Delete it).

4. You can continue to CLOSE as many apps as would like while they ALL are in "Wiggle" mode & simply click your HOME button to return to your main screen when finished.

and that's all there is too it peeps… Simple as that!!! ;) But this is a MUST DO in order for these NEW "Code Links" to work from the "Mobile App". -----> NOTE: It's also OKAY if DDC is NOT in your list of "Running Apps" when you check, this just means the Game App is already in a CLOSED OUT status & you can just proceed to using the link. **But it never hurts to CHECK twice just to make sure.

Hope this HELPS & as always, HaPpY Safe Gaming! ~Pink

**This does NOT apply for Desktop/PC/Laptop/Notepad users, the NEW LINKS work just like they always have!!
