The issue could be a problem with the OS and flash. I loaded their app on my Ipad and it seemed to run fine. I don't use portables enough to really troubleshoot this

It is plausible but highly unlikely. It depends on how the browser crashed. If flash itself was hanging then no, it would not. But if the browser itself crashed and still had a running process, it might. Best thing to do in that situation is restart your computer. That would stop any mysterious spins
